O REL eh...o siguinte
I graduated from REL in 1993 then did the Masters program at UnB and completed that in 1995 before going onto Japan and specializing in Comparative Business and Management at the International University of Japan. REL is not going to make you a world citizen. It depends on you the individual. There are some who will do this course and become very successful and there are others who will not. One thing I can say is that it's an excellent course for developing your intellect and asking the BIG questions about the world's problems. It also helps to give you great insight into understanding the human condition at the level of nations. However, in today's world, you need at least four or five foreign languages, some notion of Business Management and/or Economics together with International Development. I believe REL is a great spring-board into all these areas but you need to supplement it with something else. I'd recommend a bachelors degree in REL but a Masters in Business, Law, International Development, Economics, Marketing or any social science. That's an excellent combination even if you want to go into Itamaraty after. Good luck...
